Bohemian Rapsody

We were the in-house drapes team for this feature, and it brought many special moments and making achievements. The converted barn studio was amazing to see come alive. The hotel room was a beautiful set to dress, including a sunray pleated ceiling that floated in and out in halves, pleated curtained walls, quilted bedroom walls, a beautiful luxurious bed treatment and unusual furniture. The Wembley stadium ‘Live Aid’ set was huge in its scale and a challenging dress and looked spectacular (special moments were meeting Brian May on this set and dressing as the rehearsals took place for the concert). The ‘Biba’ department store was lavish and beautiful and the various house dressings were all wonderful sets to make and dress.
